The Winter Gardens Esport event will consist of multiple activities that you can both watch and take part in.

A Livestreamed Event!
In addition to the event, our production crew aim to live stream highlights of the event. There will be a livestream section on the floor along with commentators room to shoutcast the games for both the crowd and audiences at home.
ACTIVITIES
Here you can see the activities that will be taking place over the weekend:
LAN Tournement
For the main event we are hosting a live LAN tournament. Qualifiers on Saturday and Grand Finals on Sunday.
Local schools/teams to register in advance and submit their team to be invited to compete on stage in front of a live audience. The event will be shoutcasted by our own commentator to enhance the viewing experience!
Sim Rig Racing
We will return with our Sim Rig Racing setup, which will be free for anyone to try-out and use. There will be hot lap times for you to try and beat on the day!
Cosplay
We invite cosplayers across the weekend so dont be shy and pop down and show off your costumes!
There will be cosplay competition held on Sunday. Registration is required in advance to compete on stage to showcase cosplays to be judged by audience and judging panel to determine a winner.
Retro Games
We will have a collection of gaming systems to get hands on with Including retro games as well as Guitar Hero and party games where anyone is welcome to try-out and enjoy.
Saturday Schedule
12:00pm
Event will be opened to the public.
Doors open to the public, where people can take part in a multitude of activity stations. Come and experience the esport vibe, meet the crew and hang out enjoy the music.
1:00 - 2:30pm
LAN Tournament starts
LAN Tournament will consist of local schools/teams playing against each other on stage in either Overwatch or Rocket League (dependent upon interest/sign ups). This will be broadcast and commentated over by ZeLexi resulting in an intense experience matchup for an entertaining viewing experience.
2:45 - 3:30pm
Cosplay Competition starts
Cosplay event - cosplayers will start to take the stage to show off their own cosplays. Ultimately to be judged by our panel of judges to decide the 'best' cosplay on the day.
4:00pm
Event closes to the public
Doors close. This will be the end of the event, hopefully you will have had an enjoyable time, and you can always go to our twitch channel (@esports_lmc) to rewatch the entire event as it will have been livestreamed throughout the day.

YOU'RE INVITED TO OUR COSPLAY COMPETITION!
We would love for you to come and show your cosplay at our event! You don't even have to compete as it would be great to see as many costumes and attendees over teh weekend!
Whether just to enjoy the event, or compete against other cosplayers on stage, all are welcome.
You have the chance to be judged on stage by the audience and our panel of judges.
Walk out to your own music and show off your cosplay in front of a crowd and have a chance to compete against others.

In order to get a chance to be able to play on stage in front of a crowd you will first have to fill out an application form. Please understand that slots are limited and we can't guarantee everyone will get a spot on stage but we will try our best to accomodate as many players and teams as possible.
Saturday is qualifier/knock out with Grand Final hosted on Sunday so please ensure you are are available when you sign up...
We will be prioritising schools, so if you are interested in playing on stage, creating a team with your school friends could lead to the opportunity to play live on stage!
Highlights of games will be broadcast via: twitch.tv/esports_lmc and captain/players may have the opportunity to get interviewed by our hosts - please ensure you are aware and comfortable with these realities.
